Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye is a 90-proof rye whiskey produced by Jack Daniel’s and first released in October 2017. It is distilled from a 70% rye, 18% corn, 12% malted barley mashbill, and uses the same charcoal filtration process as all Jack Daniel’s products.
In 2016, Jack Daniel’s released a 94-proof, single barrel rye whiskey, which represented the first new recipe from the distillery since prohibition.
The distillery released a limited-edition barrel proof rye in 2020, and added it to the brand’s year-round lineup in 2023.
