The Jack Daniel’s Bonded Series was introduced in April 2022 with two new permanent extensions to their lineup, Jack Daniel’s Bonded Tennessee Whiskey and Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash Blended Straight Whiskey. Both whiskeys meet all of the requirements to be labeled as bottled-in-bond, which means they were distilled by a single distiller during a single season, matured in a government bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof.
Jack Daniel’s Bonded Tennessee Whiskey is a very similar offering to the duty free-exclusive Jack Daniel’s Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whiskey, a 1-liter bottle introduced in 2018 that allowed travelers to experience Jack Daniel’s at 100 proof. The distillery’s flagship Old No. 7 is bottled at 80 proof, although Jack Daniels has been offered at a variety of strengths over the years (Sinatra Select is 90 proof, Single Barrel is 94, and so on).
The packaging for the bonded series was inspired by the original 1895 Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey bottle.
