Russell’s Reserve 6 Year Old Rye is a rye whiskey produced by Wild Turkey for their Russell’s Reserve brand family. It was introduced in 2007.
As its name suggests, it is aged for 6 years and uses Wild Turkey’s standard rye recipe, which it shares with Wild Turkey 101 Rye and Wild Turkey Rare Breed Rye. It is the only one of the three to carry an age statement, but is bottled at 90 proof, the lowest of the group.
The Russell’s Reserve line also includes a single barrel rye whiskey, which is bottled at 104 proof, albeit without an age statement.
