Old Stagg is a bourbon produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery as a part of its annual Prohibition Collection.
Both Stagg and the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection’s George T. Stagg trace their roots to Old Stagg. Like both expressions, t is named for the owner of the eponymous George T. Stagg Distillery and all are bottled at barrel proof; the inaugural edition comes in at 132.4 proof. During Prohibition, Old Stagg became the distillery’s flagship brand.
