Old Forester The 117 Series

Old Forester’s The 117 Series is a lineup of limited-release whiskeys released exclusively at the company’s downtown Louisville distillery. Each release is a different experimental expression, and each is packaged in 375ml bottles.

The series is designed to explore a wide range of Old Forester’s flavor profiles, and have thus far featured several variations in maturation, including warehouse location, aging time, and high evaporation.

The 117 Series is named for the distillery’s original location along Louisville’s Whiskey Row on Main Street, located at 117 W. Main St. In 2018, Old Forester returned to whiskey row with a distillery and tour experience at 119 W. Main St.

Bottles are available at the distillery gift shop, but tend to sell out quickly. The distillery will also occasionally make bottles available as a surprise for guests that book distillery tours.
