Old Forester Statesman was originally released in 2017 as a tie-in with the film, “Kingsman: The Gold Circle.” It is now a permanent line extension.
The barrels for Old Forester Statesman are pulled from the warmest parts of the warehouse, where they’d experience the most barrel influence and maturity for their age.
Tasting notes from Old Forester include “devil’s food, clove, oak and an undercurrent of raw vanilla. One the palate “buttery leather is quickly dominated by a bold flash of pepper, cinnamon bark and sharp citrus. Finish is intense spice and eucalyptus which fade into orange cream and caramel.”1Old Forester tasting notes
