Hirsch: The Horizon

Hirsch: The Horizon is a blend of two straight bourbons distilled by MGP in Lawrenceburg, IN, and is bottled at 92 proof. Each batch consists of 94% bourbon with a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, and 6% high-rye bourbon. Ages of each component will vary from batch to batch.

The Horizon was the first release following the relaunch of the Hirsch brand by Hotaling & Co. in 2020. Hirsch focuses on sourcing whiskeys and creating unique blends, and The Horizon represents the brand’s entry-level release.

Each batch is labeled on the seal over the cork, in the format AHH[Month][Year]; for example, AHH0320 (the inaugural batch) was released in March 2020.
