High West Double Rye is the flagship rye whiskey produced by High West.
As of 2023, the blend consists of whiskeys aged at least two years and using the following two recipes, one sourced from MGP and the other distilled by High West:
- 95% rye, 5% barley malt from MGP
- 80% Rye, 20% Malted Rye from High West Distillery
The same two recipes and sources are used in High West Rendezvous Rye, though Rendezvous features older stocks in the blend.

Nose
Mint, clove, cinnamon, licorice root, pine nuts, and dark chocolate, with a surprising dose of gin botanicals throughout
Palate
Rye spices up front, then menthol, mint, eucalyptus, herbal tea with wildflower honey and all spice
Finish
Cinnamon and mint, gradually sweetening through the finish with a hint of anise
