Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Very Fine Rare Bourbon

This bourbon contains whiskey that has been aging since the earliest days of Woodford Reserve. Bourbon up to 17 years old is included in this blend, although Brown Forman hasn’t disclosed the percentage breakdowns of what’s included in this blend.

The barrels date to 2003, when Chris Morris was named Woodford Reserve’s master distiller. This release and all future Master’s Collection bourbons will feature innovations from both Morris and Assistant Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall.

Like almost other Woodford Reserve releases, this is bottled at 90.4 proof. The only exceptions are the “Batch Proof” Master’s Collection releases.

This release is the first Master’s Collection release to move away from the pot still-shaped bottle to a new one that references the “classic and iconic flask-shaped Woodford bottle.”

This is the 16th release in the Master’s Collection line.
