W.L. Weller Antique 107
What You Should Know
- W. L. Weller Antique 107 was known as Old Weller Antique (OWA) before a 2016 packaging update by Buffalo Trace.
- William Larue Weller is often credited as the first distiller to use wheat as the secondrary grain in a bourbon mash bill, as all products in the Weller line continue to use to this day.
- The Weller lineup uses the same Buffalo Trace mashbill as the highly-sought van Winkle line of releases, including the older Pappy van Winkle bourbons. In fact, Old Rip van Winkle is a 10-year old bourbon bottled at the same 107 proof as W. L. Weller Antique 107.
