Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson F

Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson F is a barrel-proof bourbon released by Wild Turkey for the Russell’s Reserve family. It is aged for at least 10 years.

The Single Rickhouse collection is a series of annual releases, with each expression featuring whiskey from a different individual warehouse. The intention is to highlight the idea of whiskey terroir, which explores how different warehouses and aging locations can have an impact on the final whiskey’s character.

Camp Nelson F will be the second release in the series, following 2022’s Camp Nelson C. Both come from Wild Turkey’s Camp Nelson campus in Nicholasville, KY. The barrels used in this batch came from floors 4 & 5 of the seven-story Warehouse F.

Warehouse F is the lowest of the warehouses at Camp Nelson and sits closest to the Kentucky River. According to Wild Turkey, the “airflow and wind currents coming off the river benefit the barrels aging inside, which are known to ‘breathe’ more than most. For this reason, the rickhouse has long been a favorite in the distillery’s private barrel selection program.”

Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson F will be bottled without chill filtration at a barrel-strength 117.6 proof. Pricing increased over 2022’s edition from $250 to $300.
