Old Tub

Old Tub Bourbon has deep roots in American whiskey history. It was originally introduced by the Beam family in 1880 and was the brand that eventually led to the creation of Jim Beam Bourbon. Old Tub was discontinued in the 1980s but was brought back as a limited-edition release in recent years to pay homage to its heritage and offer whiskey enthusiasts a taste of the past.

While Old Tub Bourbon was initially reintroduced as a limited-edition release, its popularity led to subsequent releases and wider availability, including a national release in 2020. In 2022, Jim Beam Bonded was discontinued in favor of Old Tub, which uses the same mashbill and bottled-in-bond designation.
