Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve 9 Year is a bourbon produced by James B. Beam Distilling Co. as a part of their Knob Creek brand family. First released in 2011, this was Beam’s first single-barrel whiskey.
Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve is bottled at 120 proof, eclipsing the Knob Creek’s flagship 100-proof, 9-year small batch release.
According to Beam, expect “even more of the rich wood and signature vanilla, caramel and smoky notes that bourbon lovers have come to expect from Knob Creek.”
The distillery also offers private single barrel selections, which are also bottled at 120 proof. Age varies, but selections are typically approximately 9 years old as well.
