E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel one of the three ongoing release E.H. Taylor, Jr. bourbons. The other two releases are E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch and E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye.
Col. E. H. Taylor, Jr. bourbons are named for one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry, who fought for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.
As with all E. H. Taylor, Jr. releases (with the exception of the Barrel Proof release), this whiskey is bottled in bond, meaning it must be the product of one distillation season by one distiller at one distillery. It must have been aged in a federally-bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottled at exactly 100 proof.
