E. H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof is a bourbon produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is the only regular release in the E.H. Taylor brand family that isn’t released as a 100-proof, bottled-in-bond whiskey.
Released annually since 2012, E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof is bottled at cask strength, meaning it is not cut with water before bottling. It is released straight from the barrel and doesn’t use chill filtration. Because it’s a barrel strength release, the proof varies from batch to batch.
