Basil Hayden Subtle Smoke
It takes Basil Hayden’s base bourbon that is finished in a specially-treated secondary barrel. The barrel was toasted and lightly charred, then hickory chips were burned and the smoke was fed into the barrel. The bourbon was then added and aged in the finishing barrel for six months.
