Bardstown Bourbon Company Fusion Series is a series of small batch bourbons released by Bardstown Bourbon Company. First released in 2019, the Fusion Series represented the first releases of Bardstown’s own distillate from the company.
Fusion Series releases are all blends of relatively young whiskey distilled by Bardstown Bourbon Company blended with older components sourced from other Kentucky distilleries for added complexity. The releases included increasingly more Bardstown Bourbon Company-distilled whiskey in each release.
In 2022, Bardstown announced that Fusion Series #9 would be the final release in the series. Bardstown’s own whiskey reached maturity, so there was no longer a need for blends using whiskeys sourced from other distilleries. Production has transitioned to Bardstown’s Origin Series.
