Angel’s Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels

Lincoln Henderson’s name is prominent on all Angel’s Envy bottles. Before his passing in 2013, he was a 40-year veteran of Brown-Forman and was best known for establishing the Woodford Reserve, Gentleman Jack, and Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel brands.

Port casks are called pipes and can hold about 650 liters – American Standard barrels hold 180-200 liters by comparison.

Angel’s Envy celebrates Founder’s Day every year on August 19th, the anniversary of the first Angel’s Envy Kentucky bourbon being added to port pipes in 2010.

Angel’s Envy is blended in 8-12 barrel batches to ensure a consistent flavor profile.
