Old Overholt is one of the oldest continuously-produced brands of whiskeys and traces its history back to the early 1800s. In 1810, Abraham Overholt began managing his family’s rye whiskey distillery in Western Pennsylvania, and although the brand has changed ownership several times over the years, it has been continuously produced ever since.
James B. Beam Distilling Company acquired the brand in 1987. In recent years, the distillery has updated the recipe and added new expressions to the lineup, including the brand’s first limited releases.
