Elijah Craig

Elijah Craig is named after a Baptist minister from Kentucky who is sometimes credited with being the inventor of bourbon whiskey. While the exact details of his involvement in bourbon’s creation are debated, the brand pays homage to his legacy as a key figure in the bourbon industry.

In addition to its standard small batch bourbon offerings, Elijah Craig releases limited-edition barrel proof bourbon expressions. These whiskeys are bottled directly from the barrel without dilution, resulting in higher alcohol content, more intense flavors, and 12-year age statements. Barrel proof releases are sought after by whiskey enthusiasts for their boldness and unique character.

The Elijah Craig family includes some of the oldest regularly-released American whiskeys on the market today. It currently includes 18- and 23-year old single barrel bourbons, and previously also had 20, 21, and 22 year old releases as well, which have all since been discontinued.
