Kirkland Signature is the brand label for products produced for Costco, a chain of big-box retail warehouses and one of the largest alcohol retailers in the world. Costco will source whiskey and have it bottled exclusively for them. In the past, the company has partnered with American distilleries in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Kirkland Signature is named for Kirkland, WA, the original location of Costco’s headquarters. In June 2021, Costco launched three Kirkland Signature-branded in partnership with Barton 1792 Distillery. A small batch, bottled in bond, and single barrel expression were made available on a rotating basis.
