The Kentucky Series is a three-part release of well-aged Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys in the Hardin’s Creek family. The series consists of three expressions: Hardin’s Creek Clermont, Hardin’s Creek Frankfort, and Hardin’s Creek Boston. Each expression is a 17-year-old bourbon aged at a different James B. Beam Distilling Company campus, showcasing the influence of diverse landscapes on flavor profiles.
Despite having the same mash bill and aging period, the bourbons aged in Clermont, Frankfort, and Boston exhibit distinct tastes due to the micro-climates and environments at each location. The Kentucky Series highlights the role of location and nature in the maturation process of whiskey. The collection pays homage to the idea of allowing nature to shape the bourbon, as expressed by Freddie Noe, the Eighth Generation Master Distiller of the Fred B. Noe Distillery.
The series was officially announced on June 1, 20231Press Release.
