Golden Wedding is a rye whiskey produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery as a part of its annual Prohibition Collection. It is a 107 proof rye whiskey, likely using Buffalo Trace’s standard rye mashbill recipe, which is also used by Sazerac Rye.
Golden Wedding traces its history back to 1869. During Prohibition, the brand’s production was split between Schenley Distilling in Pennsylvania and George T. Stagg Distillery, before being transitioned to a Canadian whiskey in the 1940s.
