Old Forester Rye Single Barrel is the latest rye release from Old Forester. It is a limited release and is bottled unfiltered and at barrel strength.
It joins 2019’s Old Forester Rye in the distillery’s rye lineup, and delivers the same balanced and unique flavor profile as the original 100 proof release, but in an amplified and unfiltered form, according to Master Taster Jackie Zykan.
Unlike the distillery’s Single Barrel Barrel Strength Bourbon, which is available exclusively as a private selection, this release is not currently available as a part of their private barrel program.
