Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson C

Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson C is a barrel-proof bourbon released in 2022 by Wild Turkey for the Russell’s Reserve family.

The Single Rickhouse collection will be released annually, with each expression featuring whiskey from a different individual warehouse. The inaugural release highlights whiskey from the now-dismantled Warehouse C at the distillery’s Camp Nelson campus. The warehouse was originally built in 1946 before being decommissioned in 2021.

The 72 barrels used in this batch came from the center cut of the warehouse on floors three and four. Barrels were hand-picked by Eddie Russell.

When I tasted this liquid from Camp Nelson C, I knew it deserved its own place in Russell’s history. It’s a little different from what folks have come to expect from our whiskies, and even though we all personally enjoy different flavor profiles, Dad, myself and my son, Bruce all agreed instantly – this is a once in a blue moon kind of whiskey and deserving of being the first release in this special series.
— Eddie Russell, Master Distiller

Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson C was aged for at least 10 years, and is bottled without chill filtration at a barrel-strength 112.4 proof.

In 2023, it was followed by Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse Camp Nelson F.
