Luxco's Ross & Squbb introduces Alias Rye Whiskey starting this month

TL;DR
Ross & Squibb Distillery is launching a new premium brand with the release of Alias Rye Whiskey.
Distilled from a 51% rye, 45% corn and 4% barley malt mash bill and bottled at 90 proof, the distillery says that this rye will feature "a balanced aroma of sweet fruit and rye spice, complemented with slight hints of mint; a palate that offers forward notes of caramel, vanilla and fruit with a bold rye finish; and flavors of fruit, rye, spice, mint, caramel and vanilla throughout."
According to the company, Alias is said to "pay tribute to our country’s early female distilling pioneers, many of whom used their initials to hide their gender in order to own and operate distilleries." Interesting whiskey fact aside, the company doesn't elaborate on how this tribute is anything more than a historical footnote that inspired the brand's marketing. It is also worth noting that the overwhelming majority of Luxco's leadership is male, as well as Ross & Squibb's master distiller.
Alias will be available starting this month, although pricing details weren't revealed.
