Daviess County Double Barrel coming soon, finished in Missouri white oak barrels
A collaboration with Ducks Unlimited, Daviess County Double Barrel uses the same sourced bourbon as the other three releases and is bottled at the same 96 proof. This release is finished in a new, Missouri white oak barrels with toasted barrel heads.
According to Lux Row, this limited release features a "nose that includes crisp, toasted-oak notes, caramel and vanilla; sweet caramel, honey and toasted-marshmallow flavors on the palate, and a finish of caramelized sugar and lingering dark chocolate compliments of the toasted head finish."
Ducks Unlimited is a nonprofit "dedicated to conserving North America's continually disappearing waterfowl habitats." Lux Row's Master Distiller, John Rempe, is a long-time Ducks Unlimited member.
This new bottling will be available in mid-September for a suggested retail price of $50.
