Barrell Craft Spirits' 2021 gray label 15-year-old bourbon starts hitting shelves, 24-year-old Canadian whiskey on the way
Barrell Craft Spirits' annual Gray Label Bourbon release is upon us.
As always, it's a 15-year-old blend of bourbons sourced from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee, bottled at cask strength. This year's fourth edition is bottled at 100.4 proof.
The company's tasting notes include cola, allspice, fennel seed, and peppermint on the palate, and a drier finish with notes of pipe tobacco, walnut and iced coffee.
This release is hitting shelves now, and will be available for about $250 per bottle. Barrell also sells this release online through their website.
We're also waiting on the official announcement of Barrell's Gray Label Seagrass and Gold Label Toasted Bourbon, which we spotted a few weeks back. Another gray label recently made its way through the TTB as well, a 24-year-old Canadian whiskey finished in Oloroso Sherry and XO Armagnac casks, and bottled at 121.64 proof. Check out that label below.
